Summer’s Coming!

It's been a great year, and summer is right around the corner! It's a time to rest, reset, spend time with family and take a trip or two. But, what about all of that learning that has been done this school year? How can you help your children stay fresh without feeling overwhelmed with schoolwork?

  1. 1. Frequent trips to the library to fill a child's book bag will keep their interest in new material.
  2. 2. Read out loud to your children.
  3. 3. Have your children read out loud to you.
  4. 4. Have them facetime out-of-town relatives to read stories with them.

  2. 1. Make plans to stop in and see historical sites and museums.
  3. 2. Have your children keep travel journals to tell classmates about when they return to school.

    2. 1. Allow children to enjoy screen time using educational games that will keep concepts fresh.

      Family Fun Time
